My name is Søren Birn

Based just south of Aarhus, Denmark’s second-largest city, I draw inspiration from the surrounding nature, the urban life of Aarhus, and the streets of Berlin.

I’m drawn to the mood of the moment, wherever it appears — in city life, nature, or architecture. That’s what I strive to capture in my photos.

I’m currently exploring multiple exposures, long exposures, and ICM (intentional camera movement). I believe these techniques add to a photography, though finding the balance between effect and simplicity is a challenge.
